My Story
I promise that I understand where you are coming from.
Two years ago, I left the corporate world to start my own consulting and mentoring business after 20 years in strategy design and execution. And you know what? It was SO much harder than I anticipated. I made so many mistakes at the outset. I got distracted by Instagram coaches telling me I should be focusing on social media. I overcomplicated my offerings, and spent way too much on shiny tech that didn't add value. I lost focus on what my clients needed, and in doing so I failed to convert them as clients. After nine months, I almost quit due to lack of impact (and revenue).
But instead of quitting, I went back to basics, followed my own advice (and templates!) and revised my strategy based on conversations with my dream clients, and a simplified set of service offerings. In short, I focused on what I do best and stopped doing the things outside of my zone of genius e.g. relying on social media and instead prioritized in-person networking and free sessions.

Within a month, my income surpassed the previous six months put together. I was picking up new clients, and they were referring their friends to me. Even though I rarely posted, my social media following tripled. It wasn't long before I started having the impact that I knew I could. One client doubled her revenue in three months before then tripling it six months later. She even took her first holiday away from her business in five years with her young family.Â
Long story short, I understand your frustration. Basically, a plan, built on the basics, that you can easily execute.

It’s up to you how and where we do this - I work out of an amazing and inspiring co-working space with great coffee called Nasab. We can brainstorm in private in my workroom and through ideas around on a whiteboard - and you can stay for the rest of the day to turn ideas into action. If that doesn’t work for you, we can do online while you juggle your existing job, kids and everything else you have going on or we can catch up regularly in your local coffee shop - whatever works for you, wherever you feel more comfortable.
